Location of optimized files and new Plex Downloads

I tried locating the files using this article but I am not sure I have found it. I eventually looked in my Transcoder temporary directory directory but I am not sure it includes the files I am looking for. Secondly I think it would be odd for optimized/downloads items to live in a temporary directory (mine points to a location in RAM).

So have these paths changed with the new Downloads naming? And what folder structure should I be looking for?

Are you looking for Optimized versions? These are saved where you told it to when you used the optimize feature.

Plex Downloads are saved on the client, not sure what you are looking for on the server.

No, Downloads are generated on the server first. I have the same problem as @luckyluc77

I found out they are generated in full size in the usual /transcode dir, which is a RAM Disk, too. And because of the limited size, no download is successful. In the past the “Sync” feature used a different path inside of the Plex media server dir.

Any chance to change the transcode path of Downloads?
