Hi,
It seems that the logs have moved … not sure if that’s just in recent versions, or due to the 64 bit install? Where is the official log directory now?
Thanks!

According to this article, https://support.plex.tv/articles/200250417-plex-media-server-log-files/, for Windows the log files are located here:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Plex Media Server\Logs
Doesn’t mention anything about there being a different location between 32-bit and 64-bit.

That’s what I thought, and expected also! But nope …
. Seems to all be inside where the transcoder directory is set?
Thanks!
That doesn’t sound right. Hopefully somebody familiar with PMS on Windows (or a ninja/employee) will have an answer. I run PMS using Docker on CentOS, so I can’t really give much more assistance.

Unlikely. Did you perhaps look into the settings folder of the player, instead of the server?
Take a look into the registry and see if the key exists, which is mentioned in this post: [HowTo] An extended guide on how to move the Plex data folder on Windows
If it does, look at its content. It spells the location of the Plex data folder.
Yep, that registry entry does in fact point there … thanks! No idea how or why … it’s the same path I set for the Transcode folder, a long time back. Somewhere along the way it seems it got crossways
.
Thanks again.
