Log for User Stream's ?

Hello,

Is there a log that show’s what files have been streamed, by who, and when. Received notice from ISP on Copyright issue.
The file was in the library, but as far as I know it has never been streamed, so wondering if there was a way to check internally on the Plex server to see if there was any activity on it. It has since been removed, but still curious on how it got flagged. Wondering if a library scan/match could have triggered it.

Thanks…

You need 3rd party app like PlexPy to monitor such activity.
Secondly what? How ISP can send you copyright notice? What ISP is this? How deep do they monitor your traffic? Do you have secure (encrypted) connection to your Plex server?

ISP is FIOS. It was a TV episode I ‘found’ over a year ago. I would have figured i would have got notice then. Been sitting on server since that long. Being that the Plex server logs into Plex.tv so my kids can watch from college, etc. It was either monitored while they were watching (which they say they weren’t), or during a Library scan. There is no direct access to this box from the outside, that is why i’m curious to see how it was picked up. In the meanwhile i logged it off so its supposedly only local.

So it looks like PlexPy requires Plex Media Server to be connected online.

PlexPy can run on you local network, might be even the same machine that your PMS runs on.

During the setup wizard, it asked for your Plex.tv username/pwd. Thought it was required.
