Login(More specific purpose)(need help)(Didn't forget password)

Hey everyone! So, I have a question…

I have my username and password that I log in with on my computer etc.

Heres the question…With roku(for example)…you can login by using 4 random generated numbers/letters…that way I don’t have to GIVE people my personal passwords and logins, etc.

Is there any way I can do the SAME thing…with like someone elses laptop?

Using the 4-character code means you are signing in the Plex apps of your friends into your own Plex account.
That way the “watched” status of your media and all settings are shared among you and your friend(s).
This is not how it’s supposed to work.

Have each of your friends create her/his own Plex account. Then “share” your media libraries with these accounts.

There is not. Be glad about it, because if you do that you are giving each of your friends “full” access permissions to do whatever they like with your server and your Plex account.
