Login over Facebook, Google etc. - Security breach - Change PW?!?

Hello,

if I log in to Plex via other services, no login data including password should be stored at Plex which could be stolen in case of data theft or do I see it wrong?

In any case, I can not change my password via Plex because the “old password” used to login via other services is unknown to Plex.

Interestingly, even 2 factor authentication is not detected as incorrect.

If you log in to Plex via other services, do you still have to change your password at Plex or are you “saved” and there is no data that could be stolen?

If I previously logged in to Plex through other services, how do I change it so that I have my own login for Plex?

is annoying but maybe it would be a good option if you have to use the 2 factor authenticator to login from another location (depending on IP address).

In any case this would be the most secure option

Your account does already have a password. You added (or changed) it last year.

Therefore you are still affected by the issue.

Plex systems are now under major load.
It is best to wait a few hours, then try again.
