I’m adding a hard drive and need to switch around some of my media locations. I know how to move media in my Plex server and have done it before (leaving the 1st location in the library, adding the new location, letting the PMS update everything then deleting the original location). However, when I did that, I still lost metadata (such as specific images/posters, description, etc) even though I left everything in place until the new location has been fully scanned and matched.
It’s there anything I can do to prevent this happening again? I really don’t want to lose all my metadata¡ Thank so much in advance!
