Hi, when you are watching something with HDR on, the subtitles blind you with their brightness. Searching online I saw many people with this problem but couldn’t find a solution.
Is there a solution for this? Is it possible to lower the brightness of the subtitles on Plex under WebOS?
Or any other solution? Because like this you get blind (even worse in dark scenes) when using subtitles and HDR ON.

You haven’t stated what format these subs are in.
Settings > Subtitles > Color
There are a number of colors and grey available. You can’t set the exact lightness, though. Yellow is a bit brighter than grey (but still darker than white) and likely stands out better from the background video.
My bad, the subtitles are all in .SRT
Okay. Then yes, the preferences I just mentioned will allow some measure of control over the appearance of the subs. Just not a precise brightness setting.
