Hello, I’m having a bit of an issue with playback of m4b files. When I play an m4b file in the Firefox player, it shows the total runtime of the entire album instead of the single track. It also scales the progress bar to the entire 20 hour runtime instead of whatever ~10 minutes it should be. Notably this doesn’t mean that seeking works correctly throughout the whole book. Even when listening to a track from the middle of the book (for example, lets say track 50, which is 10 minutes long, out of a 20 hour album) the progress will start at 0:00/20:00:00, and will keep advancing until 10:00/20:00:00, at which point it will advance tracks and reset back to 0:00/20:00:00. If I try to seek manually past 10:00/20:00:00, it will just advance tracks.
An oddity is that for a split second on loading the page, it will display the track with the correct end time (0:00/10:00) and progress bar, but will change to the 20 hour version in less than a second.
Has anyone else experienced this or is having this issue? Is this a (buggy) new feature I can turn off? This is occurring for me even with albums I know didn’t behave like this before, so it’s a relatively recent issue. I don’t have the issue on Plexamp, just the browser player.
