Mac Safari Plex Server Activity says there is no activity - but there is

I am streaming an MKV file from my iMac Plex server to an Oppo digital DNLA client. I see that the streaming activity is occurring in the Plex DNLA server log:

but if I hit the server activity button in Safari it shows no activity. If I bring bring up the Plex Media Player on my Mac that stream DOES show in activity.
