I just assumed that here was an app for MAC OSX that allowed me to sync offline media for watching later like I have with Android. Is this an option? and if so what do I install to make it happen?

There’s no solution for OS X.
This is important to me too. Windows has this feature by use of the Plex App for Windows. I was hoping this was an added feature of PLEX Media Player. Apparently not.
I’m considering switching from Windows to Mac OS. This would really, really help in the decision to get rid of Windows (client) for good!
