Major buffering issues on TCL Roku TV

Before last week, everything was working well on my Roku TV. But in the past week, I started experiencing major buffering issues, or the video stopping after a few minutes saying connection is not fast enough, or simply refusing to play.

The issue happens with videos from my server, as well as from other people’s servers.

Wifi speed is 300 MB/s and Plex works fine on desktop computer. I do have issues on my Android tablet, for which I will make another topic in the other section of the forum.

I play videos with integrated subtitles.

My settings are the following:
Local quality: original
Remote quality: original
Direct play: force
Incrust subtitles: always
h.264 maximum level: automatic

Same issue here with a new 4k Roku player.
Sometimes it also hangs and when I drop out to roku main menu I have no network connection.
Although everything else in the house is on the same network.
Reboot roku and it works fine for a while.

The issue seems to be solved. I didn’t change anything. Maybe an automatic update has been done and fixed the bug that caused this
