I have plenty of audibooks and a lot of them are part of bigger collections.
e.g. the
song of ice and fire, the hunger games, harry potter eg.
every book is his own album but i also want to group the different books together that belong to the same series.
For movies there is the option to use collections but for audio collections aren’t available.

You already can do that on the album and artist level (edit > tags > collections)… however you’re correct when it comes to adding a collection tag to an individual song.

i want to condense this to a single tile where you then would select which one of those you would like to hear.
For movies this is possible:
So we only need the same function for audio

As such, I would like to have inline Collections for audio libraries like were recently developed for Movies and TV Shows.
That way, when I select Album View at the top level it would display one poster for a series (when applicable) instead of each book in a series, while also displaying one-offs. This would have the advantage over Artist View by allowing for series to be listed separately—in the case of an author who has multiple series, or both one-offs and series…
