when doing ‘fix match’ (in my case on audiobooks) the search results list multiple results with the same title but as there is no additional data provided (other than the title) except by selecting a match, correct or otherwise, then having to do a ‘fix match’ if wrong… it is easy to select the incorrect match, is it possible to add author or narrator as well as the year to the results list to make matching easier and less prone to guesswork?
With what agent are you experiencing this?
Selecting match → Search Options, enter the Title, Year, Agent = Audiobooks and Language = English
it’s a stock agent i have not installed others
I take it that’s a 3rd party agent?
In my experience, the current-generation “native” Plex agents will show you a lot more details… so this might be a topic for the developer of that 3rd party agent
I think it is an included agent
[Albums] > [Audiobooks]
it is set to use audible.co.uk
in Albums I have 3 agents
[Personal Media Albums]
[Audiobooks]
[Last.fm]
i think all of them are stock agents?
i get full details in the metadata once a result is selected but it only shows titles in the search results list
Plex does not support Audiobooks.
Personal Media Albums and Last.fm are stock ones… Audiobooks isn’t – not sure from where you got that.
so it is, I forgot I installed that … YEARS ago, i’ll check their help thanks, for those interested… https://forums.plex.tv/t/rel-audiobook-metadata-agent-audible
2021 clean-up: refers to 3rd party agent
