Make the Library "Actions" Physical Click Area Larger

When clicking on the Library “Actions” Three Dots I often miss resulting in the Three Dot “Actions” visually disappearing. Requiring me to click elsewhere, for them to reappear and then very specifically click on them.
My recommendation is to make the “Actions” 3 Dot Physical Click Area Larger, the font can stay the same, but the thinness of the three-dot physical click area on larger high resolution monitors is to small. It would be less an issue if they didn’t disappear requiring multiple clicks to reappear, but I don’t think is the problem, just an additional aggrevation cause by the small area to click. More about user ezxperience and ease of use.

Is this about a particular app?
I take it you’re not clicking buttons in Plex Web with your mouse?

Yes, with the mouse, in Chrome.
It’s clicking the “Actions” (3 vertical dots) next to a Library in the sidebar.
If you click just to the left or right of the 3 vertical dots, while it’s still showing a finger (something to click on), they just disappear, unless you very specifically hit them. I think the physical click area for the button could be doubled or tripled horizontally so that clicking just beside it would open the menu instead of it just vanishing.

I’ve never experienced that problem and you made me curious. I’ve tested this with both Safari and Chrome – admittedly, they’re not super-easy to click with fingers on a tablet/mobile… but the clickable area seems fairly big.

I highlighted the clickable areas in the sidebar (orange) and the library header (green).
I guess if they make it bigger, users will complain that the library titles don’t have sufficient space

Thanks for your feed-back.
Agreed, just tried to duplicate it and found it works as you described.
Then I (remembered) put the Plex Player Window onto a Quarter of the screen (as a window) and it became a razor-thin click again and disappeared…
Let me know if you can duplicate this by placing the Plex App onto a Quarter of your screen and trying to click on the “Actions” beside the “Library” on the Sidebar.
The Windows? Quarter Window Anomaly. The Quarter Window should behave the same as a Half-Window, in terms of horizontal click area but it does not.
…and who runs Plex in a Quarter Window Anyways?

Changing the window size doesn’t change the clickable area. The sidebar remains the same size.

The Clickable Area around the three Vertical Dots “Actions” Button, is what we are speaking of and yes it does change on Windows-Chrome. as mentioned, currently intermittentlyu but easily repeatable.
When in half-window (left or right) the clickable area around the “Actions”
button has the area (highlighted above) to click-on; as with fullscreen and borderless windows.
When in a quarter-window the useable clickable area around the “Actions” Button diminishes to only directly on it and clicking to the immediate left or right in the same “clickable” area (above) it will just disappear. (currently intermittent while typing.)
Easily repeatable, try selecting the various libraries “Actions” buttons, (various)

It’s not the size that’s too small.
It’s just a quirk in the logic which overlays the ellipsis icon
Very often the ellipsis fails to appear or vanishes just on the very first click attempt.
If you move the mouse pointer one item above or below, then back, the ellipsis stays and is clickable.

yes this sucks just make it bigger!!!
