Why???

These options used to be one click (in a row), now they are two clicks (drop-down). Why? (this is on http://localhost:32400/web)
I really don’t understand why the Plex dude(et)'s are making EVERYTHING more difficult the last few months?

The web app reverts to the drop down automatically, if there is not enough room in the top bar, to show these options side by side.
Reasons for the change could be:
I do humbly admit you are partly right but…
Not enough room? It looks to me that there is plenty of room, perhaps Plex is trying to leave space for a (5th) blank option.

(just a few pixels more …)

In a similar vein, the introduction of “Recommended” and “Library” tabs - combined the lack of ability to reorder them - is very frustrating.
I am aware that the option for “remember last tab” exists, and I assume it applies here, but I have yet to find it effective. Doesn’t seem to care.
You must make sure that your web browser does not throw away the cookies from plex.tv when you close it.
Otherwise you not only have to login each time, but the web app will always start with default settings.
Mmm, think you’re right. I’m due to start a thread about niggling issues (like that) which are probably straightforward fixes, but I can’t seem to get a handle on.
That said, their inclusion in the UI still doesn’t seem compelling to me. The option to trim the UI has always been a strong point of the service, and to see steps in the other direction does make it feel relevant to the thread.
