Managed Users Login Process

I have a Plex server, a HTPC running Plex Media Player in the living room, and Plex iOS on my phone. All three are currently logged under my main Plex account. I want these two devices kept separate, but at the moment any activiy on my phone during the day appears on the dashboard on the HTPC in the evening.

I’ve tried setting up managed users, but now I have to select a managed account and enter its pin every single time I start any Plex app. Even on iOS, just switching away from the app briefly and then returning triggers the user select screen.

Is there any way (or are there any plans) to make this process more user friendly?

in the client apps, settings > account > automatically login

will remember the last logged in profile so you don’t have to put the pin in unless you switch users

Go to your account setting (not the managed user) in the app and click “Sign in automatically” and it will skip the pin entry for the last user who used it.

Yes in general settings, the same as the Web app in browser. All of our apps that have switch user capability have it
