okay, still having playback issues.
crash when changing to convertion (androidTV this time)

(crash menu -> retry worked)

some times the playback just stops and is only playing again after restarting the playback
(android tv and roku for example)

You really think it’s possible that this is necessary? or it could fix stuff ? I just found the “exportTools” plugin. So this could work.
Is it possible to not create the 500GB of thumbnails/chapters again ?

Or do we want to try to fix my installation? :slight_smile:

okay, it’s one thing to have that much bugs (4 different bug-reports open) … pretty annoying

but to have ZERO support FOR 1 WEEK is another thing.

i’m trying to HELP YOU to fix YOUR system. i mean… do i make my money with it or you do?

this Thread so far?
Buggy Menus = solved by daily database optimization (PLEX FAULT)
HW Transcoding = plex showed it up as working (HW), but wasn’t (PLEX FAULT)

not MY fault

so if you take these bug’s seriously (and fix them), this thread already could helped others

I take the bugs seriously.

You don’t seem too interested to work with me or we have a communication barrier I can’t overcome.

  1. I asked about creating a new “Library” instance. You’ve ignored that / deflected.
  2. You don’t want 500 GB of thumbnails? Turn them off when you create the library section or click “Delete Thumbnails” in each Library section -> Advanced tab.
  3. I’m not a gui person so can’t help with Plex/Web (long since and well established in these forums, thank you)

I am turning this thread over to another team member in hopes of resolving your issue.

  1. i would prefer to fix things, rather than “not working → all new”. i’m not a windows user :wink:
  2. sure i want thumbnails - but i would want them to move over, IF i create a new Library.
  3. okay. altough not sure if PMS/Client issue

So again, back to PMS

at least 2 PMS bugs left:

  • “ghost”-entries (112 times the same item)
  • metadata not loading without 1-3 manual refresh’s (most of the time)

complete PMS crash again … but managed to restart itself… (Update: or not … bugged the sh**t out of it - needed manual restart)

plus i’m still having the problem with “indirect connection”, altough the server is fully reachable… restart of the app solves that for that moment

as well as “no metadata loading”

the only thing this thread brought up in the last TWO WEEKS is that you, @chuckPA eating at 6.45 … O_o

needs still refreshing every single metadata to actually get the posters

You found a bug in post 18 that’s serious and not your fault, and I wanted to hop on and link a similar thread where we got a helpful reply. You may be facing similar issues.

about the metadata not loading, this is the exact same problem here discussed very deeply (without any success)

@ChuckPA , see? if you willing to investigate some errors and take log of it, you guys could maybe actually fix your (pretty broken) product :wink:
