Mark as played not working on a movie

Okay, so I was watching a movie directly on the plex server on my computer, then I started watching later on the roku. Now whenever I go into plex either on the roku or computer, it says it’s back where I left off. I choose mark as played but it keeps popping back up on both devices.

Did you leave a web browser tab open, with the movie still ‘paused’ in it?

Yes I did. I figured it out last night. Thanks anyway.

In general, never Pause a video in Plex for longer. Always use the Stop button. Your playback position will be stored anyway, so you can resume the video later - even on a different device.
