I would like to request a feature that can identify whether the last added episode in a TV series package is a season finale, on-going, or series ending episode.
As of now, the poster shows the count of the number of episode in the series. However, I would then have to reference IMDB or a similar source to find out if the last added episode in the package is the last episode of the series. More importantly, if the series has been cancelled.
This would be a helpful feature in a library that includes a lot of season shows. I am not sure what would be needed logistically to have Plex poll the files in the library and identify whether there is a season or series ending episode in the package.
At minimum, I would accept a feature that allows the end-user to manually identify whether the season package includes all the episodes, is cancelled, or is on-going. Maybe this feature can be done by using something like a different color coding for the numbers on the poster? Green for season is on-going, Orange for Series has ended, and Red for season has been Cancelled?
I checked the threads to see if this has been mentioned and I could not locate anything. So please excuse me if this has been considered before. If it seems like a plausible and innovative idea, please let me know if it will go under serious consideration. I believe this feature would add yet another edge over Plex media streamer competitors as I have not seen it before.
