Media Missing

The UserCredentialReset utility is available if needed.

this is the output from the curl command

this is what i see when I log in

That’s claimed. Those are the feature flags

Control-F5 to force the browser to reload

I used a private browser tab to ensure no cookies or cache existed.

Refreshing did nothing.

sit at your laptop and open https://192.168.1.10:32400/web
or try an iPad maybe?

Okay when I log in to the web panel with the IP address of the server I can see the media

Plex.tv sees “Plex Machine” as of 7 minutes ago.

The machine did not publish.

I would like you to reclaim the server and we’ll force it to publish its addresses (why you can’t see it on your LAN)

  1. Stop Plex
  2. Download the shell script, give it +x permission
  3. Invoke the script and let it sit there waiting for a claim token
  4. Open a tab to Claim | Plex
  5. COPY
  6. PASTE into the terminal window where the utility is expecting it.
  7. hit enter.
  8. It will confirm everything (and your info)
  9. Start Plex

Now I see the server… I see a WAN IP only. 71.x.x.x

Is that correct ?

that’s correct.

also, i just signed back in to the normal web panel and my server and libraries are now showing up under “more >” in the sidebar!!

I don’t see your LAN address. I should.

Confirm for me please ?

192.168.1.x ? (both you and the server)

my desktop: 192.168.1.100
the server: 192.168.1.10

When PMS misbehaves (which includes when the ISP’s modem/router causes issues – haha)

Open an incognito browser window directly to the LAN IP of the server.

That bypasses TONS of evils.

Yeah I do that basically any time I encounter something acting weird

which up until two days ago has been fewer times than I can count on one hand for the past few years

when you get a chance, now that you see it.

If you could pull the logs ZIP and share them?
I’d like to see WTH happened to you and how to avoid in the future

From PMS please Settings - Server - Troubleshooting - Download Logs

Definitely got some access denied issue here.

Was the password changed recently ?
