Running on win serv 2012 R2, the update caused dlna not to work, half of the video formats wouldn’t transcode for web player (firefox), i’d assume there is a patch for this in the works?, i downgraded back to a few weeks ago and it fixed it straight away
Initially no media at all worked until i tweaked with my OS install a bit to enable some features via powershell

unluckily i did not find any other thread with a User describing this problem. I’ve got the same error with DLNA, also using a Windows 2012 R2.
But my videos are working fine.
There are Plex DLNA Server Logs written, but without any errors.
as soon as i update on ubuntu plexmediaserver_0.9.17.2.2159- 2bd156c_amd64.deb from 0.9.16.6.1993 PMS goes down. If i roll back goes back up.
Luzifel did you try different video formats? It seems to only happen on certian formats (i think it was mkv mainly but not sure)

i’ve tried severell Video Formats, but mainly i only own MKV and just a few AVI. Both Types are playing fine.
I also tried severell mkv with different Codec, MPEG 4 and h264 are working, also MP3 up to DTS-HD MA.
But i figured out i am no longer able to play anything on my Chromecast.
This Update is a mess, it seems like, there are many independent errors along the new release.
