I have a Synology NAS with Plex Media Server installed. After the latest update to the server (version 1.15.2.793), the media player now locks up (freezes) when playing videos and doesn’t allow fast forward or reverse from current position. Doing either action causes the video to continue playing at the current position. If you back out, the movie starts over from beginning, even when resume from XX time is selected. Very frustrating, especially when watching a long movie and only have 30 minutes left. Essentially have to watch movie all over from beginning and hope it doesn’t freeze or have to pause movie. I had no issues before the latest update. Any help with this issue is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
