I use plex as platform to record movies over my receiver. But as I opened plex today, all my medias are not longer there and also the Live-DVR doesn’t exist. There are just online medias.
The plex server is running, I also tried already to restart it. No change.
Also the recorded movies themselves are on the NAS. Everything good here. Just the plex database seems to have a behavior as it got formatted, or something like that.
I have the plex pass, so I paid a one-time fee.
When I click at “more” and then “your media”, I just see a link to the plex website where I can download the server. I have the server already, it is running.
What should I try to do?
I didn’t use plex for more than 6 weeks now, because I was traveling. But now I would need it again to record me movies. Thank you!
After changing your account password, you need to re-claim your server (i.e. connect it to your account). Otherwise it will eventually lose all Plex Pass-enabled features and/or you will lose access to it completely.
Do this: You need to reclaim your server, but don't dare to touch the Windows Registry
Then let it run for while, then reboot the server machine completely.
