I’ve just started using Plexamp pretty heavily the past month. I’ve grown to love it. The style of the app makes me think it would be well suited to have the option of just living in the menu bar. The entire UI could easily fit in the space a lot of apps use for their mini apps in the menu bar.

MacOS is what I’m thinking of. I think the small minimal nature of Plexamp lends itself to being totally contained in a menu bar drop down if the user prefers. The newly released version of Plexamp on macOS has an option to “live” in the menu bar instead of the dock.

Settings > Experience > Desktop Integration > Menu Bar Mode
