Hi. I have Plex Server 1.22.3.4392 and the Merge Recently Added Items option is not visible under Settings/Server/Manage/Libraries.
I liked it better when it would say recently added movies vs recently added
Wanted to add. This is fixed if you restart the server. That was able to allow the option to appear for me and I could remove. Even after I had already restarted the server with the update.
