"Recently Added ..." section stuck in Home

Despite unchecking “Recently Added Movies” and “Recently Added TV” under (Manage → Libraries → Manage Recommendations), these sections still appear (Happens with all Player Versions [Apple TV, LG TV, Web, Windows Player]).

These sections don’t appear upon loading plex, they appear after a while or when manually scanning Library.

I’ve added Logs where I did the following to reproduce the issue:

Troubleshooting Steps I’ve tried:

  • Checking and unchecking “Recently Added …” (saved and restarted in between)

Never mind. I found out that I had “Merge Recently Added items” also enabled.
So unchecking this option solved the issue.

I guess this is just a bug, because I don’t think this is a normal behaivor when having it enabled.
