Is there any chance we will be getting a plex player for the Meta Quest 2. Over 10 million units its shipped so far!
We have one for xbox so why not the quest, its one of the most popular consoles this year even outselling Xbox Series X. You have Players for tv’s firesticks, mobiles. There was one for the occulus GO even which is archiac.
Please for the love of god give us one for Quest 2.

I too would love a plex app for my quest 2. I had one when I had a Gear VR (which was oculus interface), but I need one for the Quest 2 now! I know there are workarounds, but they are not as good as a dedicated app.

Would a better way not be to have a Plex app in Bigscreen? Bigscreen looks really cool and being able to watch Plex inside that app would be amazing. like you are able to watch netflix
+1, would love to have some sort of Plex VR functionality. Either a dedicated app for the Quest 2 or via an integration to e.g. Bigscreen. Really loving the experience. VR has improved a lot and is getting affordable and more mainstream.
This is definitely needed!!! In the meantime people can enable DLNA to stream their local files to bigscreen but you can’t do a hosted room unless you are on the same LAN.
That is far from perfect though because Plex now has a lot of streaming content. It is probably far out of scope for a support forum but if I were Plex I’d snatch up bigscreen as a start and build a really slick API/court the various streaming apps since they either don’t currently have VR options or have broken ones (prime). One app to rule them all and they all get a chance to “sell” streaming content.
All the streaming apps and all your local content available in an array of actual vr theater experiences? It would pwn.
