Metadata Agent is pulling bad data from themoviedb.org and I cannot force usage of thetvdb.com good data

Metadata for Nova season 48 on themoviedb.org is broken: it jumps from episode 12 to 14. I’ve reported this problem there.

That said, the metadata for this season on thetvdb.com is correct. I’ve tried to force its use by changing the name of the TV series folder for Nova from NOVA to NOVA {tvdb-76119}, however; it still refuses to use that metadata.

The net result is that episode 13 shows duplicate metadata from episode 12, and the metadata for all remaining episodes are off by 1.

How can I force thetvdb.com’s metadata use for either this whole series, or just season 48?

By going to the top level of the show (click on the show’s title),
then edit the show
go to the “Advanced” tab
scroll down to “Episode ordering” and set it to “TheTVDB (aired)”.

Then Refresh Metadata of the whole show.
