Please try the newest version of the agents. It should hopefully fix your sets problem.
DONE…!.
another question…more UI polish than a bug.
i have PMS with movies with this agent and this order…
then for my movies everything it’s OK except for the little IMDB logo not visible. OK for the actor thumbs…
otherwise if i switch the agent like this (first Plex Movie, second XBMCnfoMoviesImporter)…
i get the IMDB logo but i loose the actor thumbs…
It’s possible to get the two things?..
@orbtwin-plex:
In don’t know. Will have to check if I get it to work somehow.

OK…thanks thanks…it’s not important as you can see, it’s only a beautiful UI element i sopose to be present.
cheers!
thanks for your hard work
hope you could dig a bit into this.
thanks
@ChuckPA thanks for all your efforts into getting this fixed.
Could someone do me a favor and refresh my memory?
It’s true that for some reason or another you can’t force refresh a single episode when using the agent?
it’s true…
when adding an episode fresh added into library and previously scraped with Ember…sometimes part of the info doesn’t shows…sometimes yes.
if i try to re-scan single episode… the missing info part doesnt appears.
i have to do the PlexDance.

Any new on this ???
@orbtwin-plex:
No news yet. Sorry.
I just tried this, and I cant get the actor thumbs? (Any special setting?) I have done the order of agents as showed above.
What am I doing wrong?
UPDATE: I can only get actor thumbs if the “Plex Movie” agents is above “XBMCnfoMoviesImporter (V 1.1-96)” and then I loose all my custom NFO information in my native language, how can I change the order like shown above and get the actor thumbs (Been trying different things for some time, but always the same results)
@casperse I suggest that you check your nfo files to see if the actors have a thumb tag with an url to the image.

But isn’t it downloaded by Plex?
I use metabrowser to generate all my nfo files and it list actors in the nfo as:
Brad Pitt
Max Vatan
And creates a folder in the “movie titel (YYYY)” dir named:
.actors
And downloads jpg of all actors, but why should this matter for Plex, this is only a kodi thing right?

Not convinced it does, see examples above where it doesn’t. In any case if XBMCnfoMoviesImporter comes before Plex Movie then only the actor info generated by XBMCnfoMoviesImporter will be used.
The XBMCnfoMoviesImporter agent scans the nfo file and not the .actors directory. If you want actor thumbs you need the url in the nfo file. I don’t use metabrowser so I don’t know if that can be configured to do it.
It might be possible to modify XBMCnfoMoviesImporter to store the location of the thumb in the .actors directory in the actor element instead of using a url from the nfo file - maybe @SlrG can advise?
for this case i’m using Ember Media Manager to store in *.nfo the actor thumb URL and also the picture inside the .actors folder.
It’s a great software
Panic button ON..
i just updated today PMS and the tv agent released 4 days ago…
and i’m checking the tv-series library and i’m losing posters, fanarts, descriptions, thumbs … etc randomly!.
i don’t know what to do! …
the agent order for tv-show are:

@SlrG : would it be possible to point to the “.actor” dir for thumbs? (Would be so cool have been downloading them for years but only kodi can see them…
@orbtwin-plex:
Come on buddy. How often do I have to tell you I need the debug logs? How should I know otherwise what is going wrong? If you don’t supply those in the future, I will have to ignore you. Sorry.
@casperse:
I’ll try if your request is possible.
@casperse:
I gave it a try, but it doesn’t work. The plex field for the actor thumb seems to take an url only. Putting a local path and filename into it makes plex show no actor at all. Loading the thumb and assigning the cached content to the field doesn’t work either. So at the moment there is nothing in my knowledge I can do to assign local actor thumbs. Sorry.
