Would it be possible to release the source code of one metadata agent before the official release of .9? This would enable us to already start working on agents and - depending on how complex it really is - maybe some simple ones could already be ready on wednesday.
I second that request, although I’ll fully accept if we are asked to wait until Wednesday… 
It’s only a few more days until the release, surely you can wait until then 
We’re still making some last-minute changes to the API, and code by itself doesn’t really reveal much about how the different components interact with eachother, so I’d rather wait until the spec’s finalised and everyone has the actual application to play with.
No problem, I can wait ;) However, I do think that clean code is a great way to learn stuff :P
I’d really like to make a scaper for a dutch movie site but i guess i have to wait.
Isn’t there some sample code to start with/from?
the wait is over, plex9 is released, and you can find all the existing agents in your ~/library/application support/plex media server/plugins/ folder. oh, and dont call them scrapers anymore please.

No documentation exists yet, sorry - I’ll try to get some out as soon as we’re not being slammed by bug reports
