I use plex media server on a synology only for the music everything works well except that the metadata (artist biography etc…) are in English while I have everything set up in French in the plex app as well as at the library level. This works with Last.fm as agent but not with plex default after agent.
How can I do to have the text in French?

Unfortunately you cannot. The metadata source does only deliver in English.
I thought the sources were from MusicBrainz and there is the French version.
Musicbrainz is used to match the albums and artists. However, the artist bios and album reviews are sourced from allmusic.com
Musicbrainz is simply using Wikipedia to display that on their website, however, Plex has currently decided against using that data.
too bad there are no French translations so either I switch to Last.fm or I change media server
