I am a returning user to Plex and Plex server - last tried a few years back. I had been using Channels and thought it could not be surpassed. I was wrong.
Plex is a stunning media server and solution. I am delighted and quite happy to change from monthly to lifetime sub based on what I have seen. Now happy to replace my current solution (Infuse and Google Drive) with Plex and look forward to the change, control and extra function that will bring!
I was testing to make sure all suited me so have now ordered hardware for a dedicated server - 4TB disk, 32GB SSD for boot drive, Pi4, case etc.
I have a couple of recordings on the test server I would like to keep and keep them within the DVR. Is it possible to move recordings complete with meta data from one server to another such that they appear “as is” in the new server?
