Just looking for some advice really. My Plex install has become really unstable over the years. Often updates fail so I have to manually install them for example. Plex Secure and Encryption doesn’t seem to work anymore so disabled it, removing collections from library makes no difference they still appear regardless of if the feature is on or off.
I’m pretty sure Gremlins have just got into the system and frankly I can’t be bothered faffing about when things just seem to fall over. I just want to start a fresh and start a plex server from new, obviously keeping all my content.
Content migration I have no issues with but ideally I want to migrate the users and their watch history from one setup to another and only that. No other settings, preferences metadata etc etc. I’ve tried to do some research but can’t seem to find anything that only relates to this.
Some of the people who have access are very tech illiterate and would hopefully try to make it as seamless as possible.
Any advice or tips?
