I copied my entire Windows based plex config directory over to an UNRAID hosted plex container (official image) and am now seeing these SNI errors frequently occurring in the logs. Honestly it could have been ongoing before migration but i started troubleshooting because after a day plex players wouldn’t connect to the server “talking to server” forever. Only thing interested in the logs was this SNI warning.
[CERT] TLS connection from [router] came in with unrecognized plex.direct SNI name ‘[serverip].[key].plex.direct’; using installed plex.direct cert
Searching forums I specified the adapter to listen on vs. Any. I also cleared out my information (and cert version and certuuid values) in preferences.xml and relogged in. still occurring.
any other suggestions on troubleshooting? Appreciate it!
