When I connect the Plex web app or iOS app to my tv via chromecast, and use my computer or iphone as a remote, the tv does not mirror the library view with thumbnails, even though it mirrors other views.
When I select a show or movie while connected to chromecast, it mirrors the detail view for that item. I see the detail screen on my iphone or web app, and also see it on the TV. However, when I’m browsing the library on web app or iphone, the TV that is connected via chromecast does not show the same thumbnail view of the library. Instead, it shows a blank screen or a screensaver shuffle until I make a selection on the mobile device. That means I (the person with the connected phone/computer) am the only one in the room who can browse the library. It would be nice to see the same thumbnails mirrored on the big screen so that everyone in the room can see what’s available. It would make it easier to make a selection as a group, without having to pass my phone around to my guests so they can each see the thumbnail library.
