Missing Greece in the list of countries for HDhomeRun

I understand that Electronic Program Guides (EPG) are probably not available for Greece as for some other countries (like Israel), so I cannot use Plex with HDomeRun. My questions:

  1. Is there anything I can do to help find the Greek EPGs given that I live here?
  2. Shouldn’t there be a way to just select a channel and watch Live TV via a Plex client, even without EPG info? I hate the idea of intalling Kodi or other clients that work with HDhomeRun (and having to train the rest of the family how to use them!).
  3. For recording purposes, shouldn’t I be able to just select a channel and the time/duration of the recording in situations with no EPG?

One reason why it is limited to areas with guide data is they don’t have live channel viewing yet. They also don’t have a manual recording by time option yet. So you can’t really do anything without guide data. I know they mentioned these features coming but no time frame.

Only if they export it in a certain machine-readable format.
