Missing servers after upgrade

Hi everyone,

Ever since updating Plex Media Server (and/or the TV client apps) recently, I’ve run into a recurring issue where my local servers randomly disappear from my account view.

Setup:

  • Servers: Dual-server setup on the same local subnet (192.168.1.x)

  • Clients: Apple TV, Samsung Smart TV

  • Plex Media Server Version: Version 4.160.0

  • Network Setup: Static IPs reserved for both servers, local network discovery (GDM) enabled, manual port forwards active.

The Issue: After years of seamless operation, the player apps (Apple TV and Samsung TV) no longer reliably show both servers simultaneously.

  • Upon opening the app, one or both servers often show as offline/missing.

  • If I log out and log back in (or force-close and relaunch the TV app), one server usually reappears, but rarely both.

  • Browsing directly via local LAN IP ([``http://192.168.1``.](``http://192.168.1``.)x:32400/web) loads both servers and all libraries without issue, confirming that both server instances are running and healthy.

Troubleshooting Already Attempted:

  1. Verified both servers are claimed under the exact same Plex account.

  2. Verified GDM (Local Network Discovery) is checked on both instances.

  3. Verified local IP reservations and secure connection settings.

  4. Performed full sign-outs and app cache resets on the TV apps.

Is anyone else experiencing missing servers or partial account token handshakes on TV clients following recent updates? Any insights or known bug trackers for this would be appreciated!
