Gettin’ Cooked With Ricky doesn’t match at all.
Its on theTVDB but not TheMovieDB… so its not on plex at all.

Is there a way to manually add it?

I changed the name of the folder it was in to
“Gettin’ Learnt With Ricky (2025) > Season 1 > Gettin’ Cooked With Ricky - S00E00 - Episode.mp4”

I changed the name of the folder back to “Gettin’ Cooked With Ricky” and it remained matched.

That’s definitely wrong, because “Gettin’ Learnt With Ricky (2025)” is a different/separate show.

Part of the problem is that

  1. this show is relatively new
  2. this show is not yet present on TheMovieDB.org, which is an issue because Plex uses TMDB as its master source for tv shows.

You can try it this way:

/TV Shows
   /Gettin’ Cooked With Ricky (2025) - {tvdb-2179779}
      /Season 01
         Gettin’ Cooked With Ricky (2025) - s01e01 - The Kings Of Donair.mp4
         Gettin’ Cooked With Ricky (2025) - s01e02 - French Fries The Right Way.mp4
         ...

Don’t forget to set the Episode Ordering to “TheTVDB (Aired)” in the properties of the show.
If the above doesn’t work, you better add the data to TMDB yourself. Then allow at least 3 days for them to appear in Plex.

Yeah, it was super wrong.
It surprisingly matched the first 3 episodes to the right show though; The fourth had no metadata at all, but it only came out yesterday so I added it myself.

I have changed the Episode Ordering though to make sure it stays in the right order.

For the future I’ll have to keep in mind the tvdb id incase it decides to unmatch or another show has this temporary issue.
