I don’t know if it’s only me but when I’m changing a release in PLEX the subtitle is not being detected again via “Scan Library Files”. If I’m selecting the movie and run the “Refresh Metadata” everything is back to normal.
For example I have:
The.Movie.2017.720p - folder
The.Movie.2017.720p.ro.srt - file
The.Movie.2017.720p.mp4 - file
I’m removing the folder The.Movie.2017.720p and adding a better release like: The.Movie.2017.1080p
New structure:
The.Movie.2017.1080p - folder
The.Movie.2017.1080p.ro.srt - file
The.Movie.2017.1080p.mp4 - file
During the Scan Library Files I can see that “The.Movie” is detecting the new folder and there are 2 files for the same movie and after the scan is complete I only have the latest one, the one on 1080p. This is normal behaviour the only problem is that this time I cannot see the Romanian subtitle for the movie. If I’m performing a refresh metadata the subtitle is detected.
This is not an issue for the old items in the library it’s for the new ones that I’m adding. Is this a known issue?
I’m using the latest PMS v1.9.3 on CentOS x64.
