It was a plex pass feature which too good. But would it be better when a synced mobile can transfer in same network nor transfer iv a WIFI-Direct which most of the current smart phones or tablet have. It would reduce the needed for other device to re-sync which may -re-encode putting burdden to the server. Only challenge is other device should be home user’s and device spec matches ie 1080p-1080p or 720p-720p. Which will be challenging task to identify which is fine as even 4k are directly played via 1080p phone which have the support to decode with 845 series or 8xx series phones
