Modify Video played threshold to 100% // mod: % above 95% or time remaining

Please let me select the option of Plex only marking a video as watched when it is fully watched (on a per library basis).

I have a library of videos that are very long (8+ hours each) and even a 95% threshold means I can lose a huge chunk of the video if I end it early.

Please. Just give us the option to enter a value here instead of choosing from a drop down menu of pre-defined values.

And the option to have a “percentage” and/or “time remaining” setting.
Potentially even tie in the post-credits, in case any were detected.

See Settings > [Server Name] > Library > Video play completion behaviour

Decide whether to use end credits markers to determine the ‘watched’ state of video items. When markers are not available the selected threshold percentage will be used.

With TV series on the plex server (accessed via Firesticks), I sometime end an episode a minute or two prior to the ending credits. Upon returning, the server has already advanced to the next episode and it is a pain to get back to the last two minutues. It would be nice to define (i.e. in seconds) the point the server should automatically advance to the next episode.

Do the existing Settings > Library > “Video played threshold”/“Video play completion behavior” settings get close enough to what you want? While you can’t specify a number of seconds, you can adjust the threshold as a percentage up to 95%, and if you have credits detection enabled you can also use those to define when something is marked as watched as well.

That could work, but why is the limit 95%? On 45 minute episode, 5% leaves 2.25 minutes. 99% (or even 100% to disable) would give more flexibility.
