Apologies for being completely ignorant, but if I have a small form HTPC setup, that can transcode decent but struggles in scenarios like lower connection speed on client or multiple streams, is adding a heavy-weight graphics card like mentioned above going to solve 80% of my issues? I’m not looking to transcode 4k or even run more than 2-3 streams.
hi ya, i also picked up a Dell T410 with duel X5660 processors, but as discussed the FAQs says they cannot transcode. did you find a solution by adding a GPU and what did you go with? thx!
