I have a Plex server running on a Raspberry Pi 4, and two Android TVs: A Sony Bravia 4K and a JVC LT-32VAF5000.
Since a while back I was not able to play any movie on the JVC device - I just tried to play a 1080p movie and in the media dashboard the movie appears to be playing, but on the TV all I get is a blank screen - turns into a “loading” screen after a while:
Note: Both movies work on the Sony, but fail to play on the JVC - in the screenshot above Turning Red fails to play on the JVC TV and Encanto is playing on the Sony TV
Weird thing is that TV Shows play just fine on the JVC, also at 1080p. Just Movies seem to be affected.
I’ve tried clearing the Plex data on the JVC Plex app, no luck.
htop indicated a normal level of activity on the server when the screenshot was taken
