Movie Rating Disconnect

I couldn’t find discussion on this. I’m curious if the following is by design: rating a movie from the page that represents it in your own library is not connected to rating the same movie from the general page presented through “More Ways to Watch”.

This leads to less than optimal situations where watching a movie in one’s collection may force one to rate it twice. If you rate it from your library’s page then delete the film, Plex will have no record that the film was ever watched or rated. I can’t see why that would be the desired behavior. I’m finding myself having to rate the film in my library, then search for it to get to its general page and there mark it rated and watched again.

This doesn’t work instantly. It may be delayed by a few hours, particularly after enabling it for the first time.

Thank you, sir. I see I have this active already. I’ll do some testing to get a sense of the sync performance.
