Running on Sonology Disk Stations - DSM version 7.1.1-42962
I am perplexed. I have two Synology Disk Stations running plex… One is essentially a backup for the other, and files add are automatically copied to the second DS.
On the first DS running Plex, I have sevral TV series and Movies that hang at a certain point, and sometimes, if I leave the hang go, it causes the Plex client on LG to crash.
I switched to the other Plex Server on the second Disk Station, play the file that just crashed on the first, however it plays through just fine. No Hang… No Crash.
So… I copied one of these files from the “good” server, back to the “bad” server (thinking maybe a bunch of files went corrupt in a power outage or some other event. When I tried to play the known good file again using the server that always seems to crash, it once again hung, then crashed the client.
Can anyone provide some direction where I can start looking to resolve this issue? The issue has happened many times over a long period of time, but I am just now starting to try and figure it out.
