Hey Guys-
I have 2 movies - Les Miserables and Cafe Society - that keep popping up in the recently added section even though they were added a long long time ago. I removed them from the Movies folder for a couple of months and put them back in recently and again they keep popping up as recently added even though I have added multiple movies.
Any answer as to why this is happening and how to fix? It’s really annoying…

Movies only show up in Recently Added when the Date/Time stamp of the directory and/or file is changed.
Do you have any activity which is writing into that directory or otherwise modifying any facet of the file? (Permissions, etc)
There’s nothing that should be putting new time stamps on these items. How would I find out? Why would it ONLY be those two movies/folders? Like I said I moved them out of the PLEX Movies folder to see what happened and everything worked fine. I put them back in a couple of weeks ago, added multiple movies and every few days they both pop up back at the front. It’s really annoying…
I’m going to need to see your Log files in order to see what’s actually happening.
What you can check is the date/time stamp of the files and parent directory. Keep track of them. If they change, you have the root cause.
If not, then we need to dig into the log files and find out why.
