Every time i try to watch a movie through PLEX the video and sound are out of sync, but if i watch the movie out of the folder ( using windows media player) it works perfect, but soon as i try from plex again they video and sound go out of sync. This is not restricted to one movie it is most movie files, all codecs are up to date and running win10 64bit… The movies are AVI , MKV & H.264
I have the same problem using the built in Plex app on Vizio tv.

I really don’t know why we are paying for a Plex pass when the developers can’t answer help inquiries or even give solutions to fixing the issue… I now have to open the videos on my HDD to watch them as Plex still remains out of sync???
I guess this is just another complaint that will go un answered. Unbelievable. Time to find a new management system from some company that actually cares.
If this is on a Windows PC the fix is to use sync mode: display, but unfortunately that broke around PMP version 2.11 onwards. You could roll back and use PMP version 2.10, or, on some systems, you can copy some files from version 2.10 to the newest version.
