I am running two different Synology Servers. 916+ & 1019+. One at home and One at daughters for offsite backup.

Noticed the lips and audio were off on several videos. When checking them on my Mac they are fine. they don’t always appear as off. Just some times.

It also happens from both Synology Plex Servers.

Very weird. Not sure if it’s a Plex build issue and will pass or if I am doing something wrong. Considering it is happening on two different Synology/Plex Servers I am thinking it’s not me.

What do you think? Any suggestions on plans of attack.

My house has 1000 MB and daughters has 100 MB down and both have 50 up.

This even happens when watching on our LAN and not going outside the home.

They are in sync on my Mac. Something they are out of sync on the Server and sometimes they are fine.

So weird.

I recently encountered this out of sync issue also. The only player that gave me the issue was the Nvidia Shield. It thought it was odd. It was also only exhibiting the weird sync issues over bluetooth.

I think in my case it was nvidia shield specific. So I fixed the out of sync by going into the nvidia shield settings for audio and fixing the timing. There is a bouncy green ball animation and all you have to do is move the slider to increase or decrease the milliseconds of delay.
