Moving from old Music Library to Premium

Hi, I couldn’t find any answers to this on the forum already. I’m a long-time Plex user and have a really big music library. I’d like to create a new premium library to take advantage of the newer features like Plex Mix, etc.

However, along the way, I’ve done some meta-tagging within my music library including fixing track titles, cover art, etc. I’m hopeful there’s a way I can migrate over to a premium library without losing this data. But I’m thinking it’s not going to be possible. Anyone know the answer to this? Thanks

Migration of libraries is not possible.

But you can use them side by side with the same audio files, thus enabling you to migrate without interruption of “play-ability”.

If your files are well-organised and the embedded tags flawless, you might want to switch your metadata agents around so Plex considers embedded tags as most important.
