Moving Server for ratings issue

I am having an issue with track ratings i have posted about previously where ratings are not working properly on multi disc albums or albums without track numbers.
example on this post: Rating one track rates all tracks in album

In testing i have created a new test server (Both old and new are on MAC OS) and confirmed the problem is not happening there.

Now i would like to move my server over to a new one but i dont want to lose the thousands of ratings i already have in place or the played/watched tracking on my LARGE media collection.
I found this manual on moving data: https://support.plex.tv/articles/201370363-move-an-install-to-another-system/

But believe this will also carry the problem over.
Any thoughts on the best way to go about this would be very much appreciated.

My thought is if i can distinguish between movies/tv shows and music i can copy over only the TV/Movie items. Then somehow export playlists based of song ratings that are already in place.
add the music as new on the new server then import the playlists of the existing ratings…

Not sure if there is an easier way though, also have to figure out how to determine what files are moved and what arent.

never found a good way to do this but after years of this plaguing me, today i found that server update Version 1.18.0.1944 fixed the rating issues for me!
lets hope it remains fixed! Thanks Plex devs for FINALLY addressing (or stumbling upon a fix :man_shrugging:t2:)
